Winifred Zerfoss

Winifred "Winnie" F. Zerfoss (Devine), 89, of Weymouth passed away at home on May 19th, 2025. Winnie was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and moved to Weymouth in 1959, living in the same house that she cherished for 66 years. She was employed by Kemper Insurance for 20+ years and went on to enjoy retirement in Naples, Florida. She was an avid reader and spent many happy hours in the library. We will miss her beautiful smile, sparkling Irish eyes, and comforting voice.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Robert Zerfoss Sr., and her six children: Susan Zerfoss of Maryland, Robert Zerfoss Jr. (Maureen) of Massachusetts, Pat Zerfoss of Maine, Karen Zerfoss of Massachusetts, Nora Walsh (John) of Texas, and Karl Zerfoss (Sherri) of Massachusetts. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. In her final years, it was her youngest great granddaughter Nora Walsh Ault who brought her so much joy and light.

Winnie was a member of the Community Baptist Church, located at 17 Mutton Lane, E. Weymouth, MA 02189, where family and friends are respectfully invited on Thursday, May 22nd at 7PM for a Celebration of Life service with a reception to follow.
