William Emerick

William Emerick, age 85, of Weymouth, Massachusetts, passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 85. He was born on August 20, 1940, in Brockton, Massachusetts, later growing up in Bridgewater, graduating in 1958.

Following high school, Bill married the love of his life, Adrienne (Trenholm) Emerick. Soon after, he proudly served his country by joining the United States Navy, where he served for 4 years.

After his military service, William and Adrienne began their family in Taunton before eventually settling in Weymouth, where they made their home and raised their children.

William dedicated more than 60 years to the HVAC industry. He built a long and respected career through hard work, skill, and commitment to his craft. His many years in the trade were a testament to his strong work ethic and determination, qualities that remained a defining part of who he was throughout his life.

Outside of work, William enjoyed being active and involved in the lives of others. He had a particular love of hockey and spent time coaching, sharing his knowledge of the game and the values of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance with those he coached. He also loved to bowl and enjoyed the camaraderie and friendships that came with the sport.

William was devoted to his family. He will be missed by his son, William Emerick, Jr., and his wife, Kim, of Plympton; his daughter, Deborah Collins, and her husband, Kevin, of Halifax; and his grandson, Gabriel. He is also survived by his brother, Harry Emerick.

William was predeceased by his son, Sean, and by his parents, Vincent Emerick and Helen (Murray) Emerick.

Services will be private to honor Bill's wishes.
