Theresa A. Smith

Theresa A. Smith, age 94, of Bridgewater passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Theresa was born and raised on Prince Edward Island. Theresa came to the United States at the age of 19 to start her life. She married her beloved husband, Henry, in 1965. They started a family and soon settled in Weymouth where they remained for 30 years. In 1999 they moved to Bridgewater where Theresa has lived since.

Theresa was very talented at arts and crafts including sewing and knitting, and she enjoyed sharing her creations with family and friends. Theresa also loved baking, watching the Red Sox and Bruins, and spending time with family.

Theresa was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry F. Smith. She is survived by her loving children Ken Smith of Tewksbury and Robert Smith and his wife Nicolette Gebhardt of Gilford, NH, her cherished grandchildren Shannon and Andrew, and her siblings Terence, John, Emmett, Reg, and Herman.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Theresa on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 9-9:30am in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq) Weymouth, MA. A funeral mass will take place at 10am in the St. Francis Xavier Church located at 234 Pleasant St. Weymouth, MA. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Old Colony Elder Services in Brockton, Massachusetts.
