Roseen Anne Gustafson went home to the Lord on Wednesday, Feb 11, 2026. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Roseen went peacefully at her home surrounded by her devoted husband Don, family, and friends. Born in Quincy on Nov. 8, 1938, she lived a life of service to others. A graduate of Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree and Barry College in Florida, Roseen married the love of her life Donald Gustafson on Sept 9, 1961.
She raised 3 sons and spent more than 2 decades advocating for the elderly and their families as a social worker at the Colonial Nursing home in Weymouth. Roseen loved to cook for her family and was gifted in the arts, expressing her talent through song in her college choir, designing wreaths and flower baskets, and creating numerous oil paintings lovingly displayed in the homes of her family. Her vivacious personality and warm smile brought joy and laughter to all she met.
At rest now with her parents James and Anne Rindone, her brother James Rindone and her sister Joanne Petitti, she is survived by her husband Donald Gustafson, three sons Mark (wife Lucinda), Stephen (wife Kimberly), and James (wife Patricia), and 4 grandchildren Steven, Erin, Rebecca, and Jessica.
