Robert J Drago

Born of Francis and Gertrude Drago (Coughlin) in 1938, Robert J. Drago of Braintree passed away on September 13, 2025 at the age of 86. Bob was raised and educated in Quincy and attended Quincy High School. After his education he joined the Air Force and proudly served for a number of years. Once he concluded his military duties he came home and worked most of his career as a manger at College Town clothing factory in Braintree.

Bob was an intelligent man with many hobbies and talents. He enjoyed watching all New England sports teams, playing golf and in his earlier years would take his sailboat out on the weekends. He cherished all the moments he spent with his family and friends and especially loved taking care of his grandkids whenever he could.

Bob was predeceased by his wife Edith Drago (Butcher). Beloved father of Steven Drago and his wife Amy of Hanover, cherished "Pa" of Isadora and Jack Drago, Marco Minnocci and Melissa Eastman. He was also proud to be a great-grandfather of three, and was predeceased by his son Michael Drago and his siblings Frank Drago and Rose Marie Arthur.

Bob will be joining his beautiful wife Edith at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree during a private ceremony to honor his final wishes. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org.
