Richard A. Natale

Richard “Richie” A. Natale, age 81, of South Weymouth, MA passed away on May 23, 2026.

Born in Boston on May 3, 1945, Richard was the youngest child of Jennie (Marino) and Leo Natale. His competitive spirit was evident in his younger years. With the nickname “Dino”, he played football for BC High and graduated in 1963. Richard attended Berwick Academy (Class of 1965) where he lettered in football and lacrosse. He continued his education and football career at Springfield College (Class of 1968).

Richard’s daughter - Christina - was his pride and joy. He will be remembered for his love of writing and his wonderful apple pies. Richard lived in many places highlighted by his time with family in California and Florida.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Christina Natale, and his six siblings.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather for a brief funeral service at the chapel at St. Michael Cemetery located at 500 Canterbury Street, Roslindale, MA 02131. Please gather at the St. Michael’s Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 11:15am so that the prayer service can begin promptly at 11:30am. Burial will follow across the cemetery at 227 Walk Hill St. Boston, MA which is a secondary entrance to cemetery for the burial.
