Patricia Maguire

Patricia Ann Maguire (Cuddy), age 88, of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2023. Patricia was born Roxbury, raised and educated in Jamaica Plain, graduating from Cardinal Cushing High School in 1951. She met the love of her life, Frank, in 1960, and the two married a year later. They lived in Quincy for a time and decided to move to Weymouth later where they raised their loving family.

Family was everything to Patricia. She was the youngest child of a family of sixteen, four brothers and eleven sisters. Her greatest joy was in hosting family gatherings, whether it be a Christmas party, a Halloween party or Sunday cookout, her happiest times was when she was surrounded by her family.

Patricia is predeceased by her loving husband, Frank Maguire, her parents, Charles and Olive (Hudson) Cuddy, her fifteen siblings, and May Haynes "Grammy Haynes" who raised Patricia like one of her own after her mother passed away. She is survived by her adoring children, Elaine DelloRusso, Michael Maguire, James Maguire, and Gerald Maguire, all of Weymouth. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Brian DelloRusso  and his fiance Katie and Alicia DelloRusso and her partner Jeremy. Pat was also loved by her great grandchildren, Ayla, Emily, Maxwell and Nolan.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Patricia on Monday, October 30, from 8:30-9:30am at the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth, Ma. A funeral Mass will follow at 10am at Saint Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America, using the link provided on this page.
