Patricia Mae Levesque

November 10, 1950 — May 2, 2024

Weymouth

Patricia “Patti” Mae Levesque (Grund), age 73, of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2024 with her daughter by her side. Patti was born in Weymouth to Alden “Buddy” and Phyllis Grund. She was raised and educated in Braintree, graduating from Braintree High School in 1968. After high school, Patricia worked as a typist for John Hancock and Hills Department Store. She later worked for Buckley Associates, Johnny Foodmaster's and Roche Brothers.

As a child and young adult, Patti would spend summers at the cottages on Lake Winnipesaukee with her parents, sisters, extended family and friends. She loved taking her boat out on the lake, going horseback riding and getting salt water taffy and fudge at Weirs Beach.

Patti adored all animals, especially dogs, cats and horses. But most of all, Patti loved her family.

Patti met the love of her life Robert “Bob” while out dancing with her sister Cheryl at the Weymouth Eagles. They married in April of 1979 and their beloved daughter Nichole was born the following year. Patti was a devoted wife and mother and always put the needs of her family before her own.

Patti enjoyed dancing with Bob at the Eagles, cruises to Bermuda, family cookouts, and going to the beach for hot dogs and clam rolls while listening to music at the bandstand. She loved going to see live music especially the Statler Brothers and The Beach Boys. Patti and Bob also made many happy memories with friends at their favorite local Chinese food restaurant.
Patti showed incredible strength and fortitude as caregiver to Bob for the last several years before he passed away from dementia in 2023. It brings us comfort to know they are now reunited.

One of Patti’s biggest joys in life was spending time with her daughter Nichole. When Nichole was little, Patti would chaperone school field trips and take her to gymnastics and tap dancing watching proudly from the sidelines. In more recent years Patti enjoyed many special outings with her daughter and other family members going horseback riding, petting a kangaroo, brushing a rhinoceros, cruising the ocean on Nick’s boat, attending The Sound of Music musical and riding the Cog Railway to the top of Mount Washington. Patti was a source of stability, support and unconditional love through good times and bad throughout Nichole’s entire life.

Patricia is predeceased by
her beloved husband, Robert Levesque, her parents, Alden “Buddy” and Phyllis(Newell) Grund, and her sister, Cheryl Ford. She is survived by her loving daughter, Nichole Levesque and her partner Anthony “Nick” Meola, of Weymouth, her sisters Sandra Jackson and her husband, Robert, of Middleborough and Dana Siegal and her husband, Edward, of Stoneham, as well as niece Sabrina Cylie of Arlington and nephew Jeffrey Ruscansky of Holbrook. She will also be missed by her grand-dogs Violet and Ginger Pickles.
