Muriel Kinsman

Muriel J. (Hermanson) Kinsman passed away on February 12, 2026.

Muriel was raised and educated in Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth High School in 1959. She married Donald Palmer and settled in Weymouth, where they started their family. Later, in 2006, Muriel married William Kinsman.

Muriel loved her dog, Iris, and cherished her many days spent at Nantasket Beach. Muriel was an avid reader and especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Muriel is survived by her children: Darlene Delgado and her husband Alfredo of Plymouth; Denise Klink and her husband Matthew of Pennsylvania; and Donald Palmer and his wife Mary Ellen of Abington. She is also survived by her stepson, William Kinsman; her cherished grandchildren Ana, Nicole, Muriel, Sarah, and Hannah; several great-grandchildren including Avery and Zane; and her brother-in-law, Mike Kinsman. She was predeceased by her husband William Kinsman, daughter Debra Mena and her former husband Donald Palmer.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Muriel on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 10-11am in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. A brief prayer service will take place in the funeral home following the visitation at 11am. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
