Mary M. Pawlik

June 13, 1942 — March 19, 2026

Plymouth, MA

Mary Michael Pawlik (Palmieri), of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026.

Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, on June 13, 1942, Mary built a life centered on family, dedication, and quiet strength. She married her husband, Larry, in 1958, and together they raised two children.

Mary worked as a silk presser for over 35 years at Dry Cleaning by Dorothy, a longtime staple of the South Shore community. She took great pride in her work and the relationships she built there over the years.

She found joy in gardening and cherished her time at Nantasket Beach, but above all, Mary loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She was the heart of her family — the steady presence who kept everyone connected. Whether offering a helping hand or simply listening, she was always there when needed.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Larry H. Pawlik; her son, Larry M. Pawlik; her sister, Donna M. Colantonio; and her parents, Primiano and Norma Palmieri (St. Peter).

She is survived by her daughter, Jody Salmon of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Danielle Affsa and her husband Eric; John, Justin, and Nicholas Pawlik; her great-grandchildren, Kyle, Madison, Lexi, Taylor, and Chase Affsa; her siblings, William Palmieri and wife Laura; Cindy Gahn and her husband Joe; and her brother-in-law, Peter A. Pawlik.

Mary will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering devotion to her family, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Services for Mary will be private for her family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mary's memory to St. Jude's Hospital at www.StJude.org
