Marjorie Kleberg

Jun 20, 1931 — Aug 16, 2026

Weymouth

Marjorie Ruth (Wiles) Kleberg went to be home with her Lord on August 16, 2026 in her Weymouth home. She was 95 years old and had enjoyed good health until very recently.

She was born in Cambridge and raised in Everett, graduating from high school in 1949. She later attended the Bentley School of Accounting and Finance, graduating in 1954.

Marjorie met her husband, Axel “Harry” Kleberg, Jr. through Swedish dancing and they married in 1953. Together they started their family in Quincy before settling in Weymouth in 1957, where they made their home and raised their family.

A woman of strong faith, Marjorie was an active and devoted member of First Baptist Church of Weymouth, where she served in many ministries, ultimately leading a ladies Bible study for over 30 years. She found great joy in her church community. She and Harry loved taking the family to Lake Winnipesaukee for a week each summer from the time their children were babies. Later, they enjoyed spending summers in their trailer at Rumney Bible Conference in Rumney, NH for almost 20 years. Their grandchildren had so much fun with them at both of these vacation spots.

Marjorie was the loving mother of Jim Kleberg and his late wife, Deborah, of Hanson; Carol Roman and her husband, Albert, of Holbrook; and Barbara Nickerson and her husband, Mark, of Plymouth. She was the proud grandmother of Daniel, David, Matthew, Sarah, Andrew, Benjamin, and Jacob, and the great-grandmother of Eleanor, Elijah, Emily, Hannah, and Vera.

Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, Mark Wiles and Cora C. (Anderson) Wiles, and by her husband, Axel Kleberg Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Weymouth. Visiting hours will be prior to the service from 9:45 to 10:45.

Marjorie will be remembered for her faith, devotion to her family, and the many lasting memories she created with those she loved.
