Louis A. Danubio Jr. of Weymouth passed away peacefully on Monday April 28, 2025, at the age of 83. Louis was raised and educated in Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth Vo Tech High School. After his schooling he joined the Army National Guard and alongside those duties he went right to work as a carpenter. He started his career with different local carpenters honing his skills then went to work for the Tedeschi Company and later worked for Tanco Construction. He retired after 20 years as a carpenter for St. Coletta's of Massachusetts.
Louis was an outdoorsman and loved to go camping whenever he could. He played bocce, was always tinkering with something and would never turn down a good meal. Above all else Louis was a family man and always did what he could to make sure his loved ones were cared for.
Louis was the son of the late Louis Sr. and Ann Danubio. He was the loving husband of Ann Marie Danubio of Weymouth. Louis was the devoted father of Wayne Danubio, his partner Christine Donovan of Weymouth, Laurie Nickerson her partner George Hill of Kingston, Tricia Pavlichko, her husband George Pavlichko of Nottingham, Pennsylvania, Jim “Gumby Danubio, his partner Julie Bonney of Marshfield, and stepfather of Brian Stiles of Cohasset and Alyson Silverman of Weymouth. Louis also leaves behind his 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Bernice Danubio.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial mass in memory of Louis on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 11AM in the Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth. A burial will immediately follow at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Louis’s memory to the Pat Roche Hospice House in Hingham.
