Leeanne Mills

Leeanne Mills of Weymouth, passed away on September 24, 2026 at the age of 76. She was born on October 1, 1949, to the late John F. Hamilton and Lillian (West) Hamilton. Leeanne was a lifelong resident of Weymouth.

Leeanne met her husband, Robert “Sparky” Mills, prior to his military service in Vietnam and they were married on May 27, 1972. Together, they settled in South Weymouth where they made their home and shared cherished memories. Leeanne and Sparky enjoyed traveling and were collectors of antique autos and signage memorabilia.

Leeanne enjoyed working for many years at the Olympic Diner and other local establishments. She later worked as an assistant caretaker at Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth. Leeanne was a kind and caring woman who valued her friendships and was always there for those that she cared about. She had a special love for her cats, who brought her companionship and joy. Leeanne will always be remembered for her smile and her strength facing life challenges with a sense of humor and determination.

Leeanne was predeceased by her husband Robert, lovingly known as "Sparky" and her parents, John and Lillian and siblings, Joan Valente and John Hamilton. She is survived by her brother James Hamilton and his wife Barbara of Plympton and her nephew Timothy Mills and his wife Catherine of Weymouth plus many other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will remember her fondly.

A graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 11 am. Family and friends are invited to attend.
