Josie Taylor Amato, beloved infant daughter of Michael and Courtney (Tamborella) Amato of Carver, passed away on June 4, 2026, at just eight weeks old. Though her time with us was brief, she filled her home with boundless love. Josie was dearly anticipated by her big brother, Anthony, age two, and brought immeasurable joy to her parents.
In addition to her parents and brother, Josie is survived by her great-grandfather, Joe Gaul of Missouri; her grandparents, Tony and Mary (Gaul) Amato of Acton and Deborah Tamborella of Hull; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who cherished her deeply.
Though her life was measured in only a few short weeks, Josie's impact on those who loved her will last a lifetime. Her sweet presence, beautiful smile, and the happiness she brought to her family will never be forgotten. She will forever remain a treasured daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, and a precious gift whose memory will be carried in the hearts of her family always.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass in celebration of Josie's life on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Church. Burial will immediately follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Pine Street, South Weymouth. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Dagny Foundation at https://www.thedagnyfoundation.org
