Joseph Gramazio

Joseph “Joey” Gramazio, 77, of East Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Born November 7, 1948, in Quincy, Massachusetts, Joey lived a life marked by love, kindness, and devotion to his family and friends.

Joey enjoyed listening to country music, spending time at the casino, playing bingo and watching Wrestling. He loved traveling to places such as Alaska and Hawaii with his mother. He also loved seeing all the pretty nurses caring for him. At the group home where he lived the past few years, he was loved by the staff and the many friends he made. His closest friends included Roy, Donny, and Sean. Joey’s BAMSI family, especially JoAnn Feeney and Kelli Silvestro, held a special place in his heart. Joey cherished time with his family and created countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Above all, Joey had a special love for money—especially when it was tucked inside one of his favorite red wallets. Give him a dollar, and he would treasure it for life. His beloved red wallets and cherished dollars brought him endless joy, along with countless smiles and laughter to everyone who knew him. It is one of the many wonderful things that will always be remembered about him.

Joey is survived by his brother, Jack Gramazio; his three nieces whom he called his “three daughters” Sandra Maki, Lisa Fuller, Alison Maher, and niece Donna Lee Gramazio; and his nephew, John Gramazio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen (Baumann) Gramazio.

Though Joey will be deeply missed, his love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held privately and have already taken place.
