Janine E. Melanson

Janine Erin Melanson, age 52, of Brockton, passed away on November 11, 2023. Janine was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Abington, graduating from Abington High School in 1989.  Janine began working while still in high school was a hard worker throughout her life. She worked as dispatcher for Yellow Freight Trucking in her later years.

Janine adored the beach and listening to music. She loved fast cars and four wheeling. Her greatest joy in life was her son Michael, he was her everything.

Janine is survived by her loving son, Michael Kurey of Brockton. She is also survived by her mother, Adele Phillips, her sister Heidi Rothwell and her husband, David. She was also loved by her nieces and nephews, Brittany, Sarah, and Joseph. Janine was survived by her dear friend Chuck.

Services for Janine will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Breast Cancer Society.
