Helen L. Holbrook

            Helen L. Holbrook (Wilson), age 74, of Weymouth passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Helen was raised and educated in Weymouth where she graduated from High School in 1968. She then attended Massasoit where she received an associates degree, and then later in her 50’s she attended Massasoit again to receive a Master’s Degree.

            Helen married her husband, David, in 1973 and they settled in Weymouth where they have lived since. Helen and Dave created so many fond memories summering in S. Yarmouth at their house for so many years.

            Helen has been an active member of Holy Nativity Church in S. Weymouth since she was nine years old. Including but not limited to the choir, Alter Guild, and the church bowling league.

            Helen enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles in ink!, and travelling.

            Helen is survived by her beloved husband David Holbrook of S. Weymouth. She was predeceased by her loving parents John B. and Catherine Wilson (Kavanaugh) and her sister Linda Wilson.

            Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Helen on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 3-6pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home Monday Morning at 9:45am for a funeral service that will begin at 10am. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery located in Braintree.
