After graduating from Boston College High School, Emmet attended Saint Anselm College, where he continued to exemplify his athleticism as a member of the college’s soccer team.
Emmet was a gentle soul who found great joy in bringing happiness to others and was known for turning up with thoughtful and funny gifts at gatherings. Emmet was proud of his Irish heritage and cherished the opportunity to visit Ireland nearly every year as a child to spend time with family and strengthen his connection to his Irish roots.
Emmet is survived by his parents Colm and Gerardine (Ellen) of Weymouth, his brother Ronan and his wife Lauren of Pembroke, and his brother Colm Jr. of Weymouth. Emmet was the nephew of Liam, Finbarr, John, Tadgh, Tomás, Annmarie, Helen, Michael, Catherine, Mary, and the late Ann. Emmet was especially fond of his nephew Rory.
