Elizabeth D. MacQuinn

Elizabeth D. MacQuinn, age 85, died peacefully in her sleep on March 20, 2026. She was born on November 8, 1940, to the late William E. MacQuinn and Beatrice M. (Healy) MacQuinn.

Elizabeth went to Weymouth High School and graduated with the class of 1958. She married Frank L. McShane and had four children Marybeth, Deborah, Lauren and Larry. She was the loving grandmother to grand-children and great grandchildren; Jacob and his wife Ericka, and their children Ryan and Aubrey; Taylor and his wife Juliette, and their sons Leo, Nash, and Jaxon; Shane and his partner Hailee, who are expecting a baby boy in July; and Anthony.

She was a devoted member of Old South Union Church and enjoyed many trips with her church family and volunteering at luncheons and fairs. In retirement years she moved to Duxbury, MA and spent days walking and relaxing at Duxbury Beach. She also volunteered as a chaplain's aid at South Shore Hospital.

She was very grateful for a full life. Her beautiful spirit will be forever missed.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on April 17, 2026 at 11AM at Old South Union Church in South Weymouth.
