Edward Cody

Edward Kevin Cody, 78, passed away on August 17, 2026 at home peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

He was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts.

Retired Teamster local 25, member of the Weymouth Elks, devoted husband and father, lover of gardening, golf, poker, and music.

Survived by his wife of 56 years Laine Cody of Weymouth. Daughters Kerri DeAngelis and husband John of East Bridgewater MA, Kristen Tomarchio and husband Philip of Epsom NH, and Katie Cody of Weymouth MA. Grandchildren Kendall Cody, Ryan Gianotis, Leah Gianotis, Jocelyn Tomarchio, Liam Tomarchio and Jionni DeAngelis. Sister Marilyn Wilson of Plainville MA. Preceded in death by his parents Aurthur Cody and Hazel (Levangie) Cody and his siblings Arthur Cody, Paul Cody and Jeanne Belliveau.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
