Dorothy Carey McWade

Dorothy McWade (Carey), aged 65, passed away on February 10, 2023. Dorothy was born in Brookline and grew up in Weymouth, where she met her husband Francis McWade III.  The two were celebrating 50 years together.

Dotty dedicated her life to her family and was a loving homemaker who raised her two children, Kerri and Sean, with Francis in Weymouth.  When she wasn’t running their home, she enjoyed birdwatching, loved listening to music and was a wildlife enthusiast.  Dotty loved her animals and had many dogs and pets that she shared her life with.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband Francis McWade III and her children, Kerri McWade and Sean McWade. She is also survived by her older brother Walter Carey and she is predeceased by her younger brothers Arthur, Michael, and Robert Carey.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New England Wildlife Center to honor Dorothy's favorite cause.
