Dorothy Alice Craig

Dorothy Alice Craig, age 90, of Weymouth passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025. Dot was born and raised in Brockton. She worked in Insurance for most of her life, but also worked at Hilltop Steakhouse for a time along with 99 Restaurant in S. Weymouth in retirement. 

She enjoyed playing cards with the girls and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy was proud that she was able to travel the world throughout her life.

Dorothy was predeceased by her daughter Donna Lee DeCoste. She is survived by her son-in-law Gerard DeCoste Sr., Her grandchildren Gerard DeCoste Jr. and his wife Lori of Weymouth, Stacie Lee DeCoste and her partner Errol Flynn, and her great-grandchildren Jackson and Ryan. Longtime friend of Thomas Daru of Weymouth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Dot on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 10-11am in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 11am followed by burial at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree at Noon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Weymouth Food Pantry at www.weymouthfoodpantry.org.
