Dennis Deady, of Halifax, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born on May 28, 1946.

Dennis was a graduate of the vocational school, Class of 1966. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Alaska. After his military service, Dennis worked for General Dynamics for a short time before beginning a long career in pool service and construction. He worked for Crystal Clear Pools from the 1980s until recently, dedicating many years to his trade and the people he served.

Dennis enjoyed spending time at Water Rest Campground, where he made many memories and enjoyed the outdoors. He was also a car enthusiast, and a lifetime member of the Elks, an organization that remained an important part of his life.

Dennis was the son of the late James Deady and Mary (Gardener) Deady. He was predeceased by his son, Ryan Deady.

He is survived by his children, Lori Kimbrell of Florida; Dennis Lucas and his significant other, Alexa Gaytan, of Weymouth; and Melissa Lucas of Weymouth; as well as the mother of his children, Susan Lucas. He was the proud grandfather of Rachel, Shelby, Chelsea, and Adam. He is also survived by his siblings, Michael Deady and Paul Deady.

Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Dennis's life during calling hours on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant Street, Weymouth, MA 02190.
