Carol J Phinney

Carol J. Phinney of Weymouth passed away on May 13, 2025, at the age of 85. Carol was raised and educated in Dorchester and graduated from Dorchester High School. After graduating she attended Umass Boston. She worked many jobs before taking a job as an administrative assistant with National Amusements where she worked until her retirement. After retiring she worked part time in the Fountain Lane office.

Carol was a fun-loving woman that loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching the news, cherished her cat “Pudgy” and loved spending time in her Fountain Lane neighborhood.

Carol was the aunt of Alicia Pierce and her husband James of RI. She was the great aunt of Corey, Amanda and Justin. She was predeceased by her siblings Christopher Curtis and Patricia Burns.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in memory of Carol on Saturday May 17, 2025 from 9-11AM in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home, Weymouth. A funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home at 11AM. Burial will take place at the Plain St. Cemetery in Braintree. In lieu of flowers donations in Carol’s memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
