Ann M. Adams (Hayes) , age 94, passed away on August 3, 2023. Ann was born, raised and educated in Dorchester, where she graduated from high school in 1947. She married the love of her life Joseph in 1950 and the two started a family in Dorchester. After a couple years they decided to move to Weymouth where they raised their five children.

Ann enjoyed baking, sewing, and knitting. Every month or so she would meet with her friends and the group called themselves "Club".

Ann is predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Adams Sr. and her son, John Adams. She is survived by her children, Joseph F. Adams Jr. and his wife, Ann, of Newton, Judith Adams, of Connecticut, Lisa Mills Adams, ( daughter in law)of Hingham, David Adams, of Weymouth, and Nancy Mannion and her husband, Joe, of Broomall, Pennsylvania. Ann is also survived  by her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was also loved by her siblings, Joan Hickey, Frances Millins and the late William Hayes.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Ann on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 10AM, in the Saint Francis Xavier Church, located at 234 Pleasant St. in S. Weymouth. Burial will follow, for immediate  family only , at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Ma.

A request , no flowers please , donations may be made in Ann's name to the Humane Society or Food Pantry of your choice.
