Edward W. Rogers

Edward Rogers (age 85) formerly of Avon, South Boston and the South End passed away on September 7, 2011 after a short battle with cancer.
He was born July 15, 1926. Married Mary E. Burns and raised 5 children (Edward Lee, Daniel Joseph, Mary Mabel, Margaret Louise and Janet Marie). He had 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 10 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. immediately followed by a funeral service at C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant Street (Columbian Square) South Weymouth. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
