Phyllis Sherman

Phyllis (MacDonald) Sherman, age 87, passed away at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth on August 31, 2011. Phyllis was the wife of the late John F. Sherman and the late George A. Talbot and is survived by her 2 sons, Philip Sherman of Marshfield and Stephen Sherman of San Francisco, CA, her daughter-in-law Judith Sherman of Boston, her 2 grandchildren Matthew Sherman and his wife Erika of Clinton, MA and Rebecca Sherman and her husband Dan Donnelly of South Boston. She also leaves her 2 great grandchildren Jackson and Violet Sherman. Phyllis was born in New Brunswick, Canada, moved to Weymouth in 1929, lived in Hingham for 25 years and Marshfield for 14 years before moving to Halifax for 10 years. She was a member of the Holy Nativity Church Altar Guild and Women’s Group. Phyllis loved doing Needle point, hooking and braiding rugs, making quilts, the outdoors and animals. Friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial Service at the Holy Nativity Church, 8 Nevin Rd. S. Weymouth on Friday, September 9 at 10 A.M.
