Alice C. Bell

Alice C. (McNamara) Bell, of Holbrook, formerly of Clearwater, FLA, died on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 84. Wife of the late William O. Bell, loving mother of Robert McNamara and his wife Linda of Florida, William E. Bell and his wife Harriet of Holbrook, Margaret Brogle of Florida, Catherine Bell of Bridgewater and the late David Bell of Middleboro she is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild and many, many friends. Alice was born in Brockton, raised in Whitman where she attended Whitman High School. Alice worked at the Largo Medical Center in Florida. for over 18 years in the Housekeeping Department prior to her retirement in 1997. She and her late husband loved to travel and enjoyed camping with family and friends at Nauset Beach and were members of the Beach Buggy Assn. All Services and Internment are private at her request.
