Paulette Maskell

Paulette Anna Maskell (83) of Weymouth, MA passed on Friday, July 29 at The Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham after a long period of declining health. She was surrounded by family at the time. Paulette attended Sacred Heart School in Weymouth and worked many jobs in her younger years while bringing up five children as well. For many years, she and her husband spent their winters in Florida and the warmer months back home in Weymouth. She enjoyed attending shows and playing the slots on their occasional trips to the casino. Her favorite pastime was playing cards with her two sisters and one sister-in-law: Doris Ryan, Annette Crowley, and Joan Pelletier, all of whom pre-deceased Paulette.

Paulette was also pre-deceased by her husband of 62 years, Howard W. R. Maskell, and her son William P. Maskell. Paulette is survived by her three sons, Howard R. Maskell and his wife Lisa of Quincy, MA; Joseph A. Maskell and his wife Cheryl of Millinocket, ME; and James Maskell and his wife Monique of Weymouth, MA; a daughter, Linda Walker and her husband Tom of Weymouth, MA; her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Maskell of Abington, MA; as well as thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours for Paulette at the CC Shepherd Funeral Home on Wednesday August 3, 2022 from 4-7 in the evening. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home Thursday August 4, 2022 at 10:30 in the morning. Burial will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery in Weymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Paulette Maskell to The Pat Roche Hospice House or NVNA Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.
