William Bates

William "Whitey" Bates of Weymouth passed away February 19, 2022. William was born on November 11, 1944 and was raised and educated in N. Weymouth. William was a member of A.A. and had 37 years of sobriety. William was a fisherman who loved golf and was known to build boats. William was married to Dolores (Draper) Bates (1943-2012). He leaves behind 4 sons, a daughter in law, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne MA Friday, March 11, 2022, at 2:30 pm.
