Mary Gifford

d. November 20, 2021

Mary Gifford of Weymouth passed away suddenly at the young age of 64 on November 20, 2021. Mary was born, raised, and educated in Weymouth. Mary graduated from the Weymouth High School Class of 1975. After finishing school Mary married and started a family. She was a stay-at-home mom until her kids were old enough and then she re-entered the workforce. She worked at Stop and Shop for about 15 years retiring in 2019.

Mary was a woman of many hobbies and was always staying busy. She loved camping, working in her garden and anything else that involved being outdoors. She enjoyed memories taking her children to Florida each year to visit family and the camping trips with them. Above all else she adored her grandkids and spending any time she could with them. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mary leaves behind her loving children Brian Patterson of Weymouth and his children Dylan, Gavin and Jax and Jaime Patterson of Weymouth and her dog Dougie. Mary was the sister of Richard Gifford (Weymouth) and aunt to his two children Richard Andrew Gifford and Danielle Gifford. Mary also leaves behind her former husband Ricky Patterson.
