Bernadette (Hamilton) LeTendre of Attleboro passed away on September 28, 2021 after a long illness at the age of 54. Beloved wife of Richard "Rick" LeTendre and mother of Oscar G. LeTendre; cherished daughter of Gerald F. "Gerry" and Michele "Mickey" (Pomarico) Hamilton of Weymouth; loving sister of James Hamilton and his wife Michelle of Rockland, Peter Hamilton and his wife Diane of East Bridgewater, Katherine "Kit" (Hamilton) McCafferty and her husband Joseph of Whitman, and Thomas Hamilton and is wife Kristen of Weymouth; dear daughter in-law of Richard P. and Gladys (Zea) LeTendre of Cumberland, RI; devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews that she loved so much.

Berni loved growing up in the child-packed Laurel Street neighborhood in East Weymouth and thoroughly enjoyed her time in Blue Birds, Campfire and Rainbow Girls. As well as being in the concert and marching bands she was a proud graduate of the Weymouth North High School class of 1985. She then received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and worked for many years at the Quincy YMCA as a Lead Pre-School Teacher as well as the Assistant Youth Director. She later worked at Bio-Rad in the accounts payable department where she met the love of her life. Berni held many offices including President in the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Women’s Guild in Attleboro. Throughout her life she had many different jobs, none were as special to her as being a Mom. Berni Had an infectious smile and an even more contagious laugh. “Berni puts the “F” in Fun!” is a quote from one of her very special students. Berni will be forever in our hearts and greatly missed by all who knew her.
