Mary Brooks

Mary Brooks (Barbieri), age 92, passed away suddenly on February 15, 2020. Mary worked at Brockton Hospital, Brockton VA Hospital, and South Shore Hospital for many years. After receiving her Master’s degree in education she taught at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham for ten years and enjoyed it thoroughly. Mary was a talented artist, excellent cook, and loved playing piano.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband John William Brooks, III of Weymouth, her loving children Norman Babcock Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Norton, Janet Parker and her husband Gregg of Alaska, and Paula Fuller and her husband Paul of Weymouth, and step-mother to Donna Flanagan, Cheryl Craig, and Terrance Brooks. Mary was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.

Funeral services for Mary will be private for her family.
