Gary William Werra, age 39, of Fall River had his life tragically taken from him on Christmas Eve Tuesday, December 24, 2019. Gary was born and raised in Weymouth. He attended N. Weymouth Vocational High where he excelled at carpentry and also played basketball and soccer. Gary worked for Suncastle Group, Porche Audi Norwell, and also had many entrepreneurial pursuits over the years including Marchione Removal.
Gary had many interests including Sports, hotrods, and motorcycles along with many hobbies including sports memorabilia, collecting antiques, music, carpentry, and cooking his mother’s Italian recipes. Gary was also an exceptionally lucky keno and lottery player. He had the potential to accomplish greatness, truly one in a million who had an infectious personality and loved warming others’ hearts. Gary lived his life as a warrior, passionately immersing himself in all walks of life. He leaves enormous footprints in the wake of his memory and was truly always loved, will be forever missed, and never forgotten.
Gary is survived by his devoted mother Deborah Marchione of Weymouth, his father Arnold Werra Sr. and his wife Deborah of Braintree, his brother Arnie Werra Jr. of Weymouth, and his companion of seven years Jaqualine Mantia of Fall River. Gary is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Gary on Thursday January 9, 2020 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. A service will be held in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 7pm.
