Loving wife and mother, Bartlett resident from 1995-2003

Suzanne Elaine (Barker) Oldmixon, 86, of Weymouth, MA, died peacefully in her home on October 19, 2019.

She was born July 29, 1933 in Boston, MA to Dr. John R. and Mrs. Cathryn J. Barker. She attended Regis College (1956), teaching for a number of years in Newport before joining the Navy as a WAVE. She was stationed in Pensacola, Florida, where she met her late husband, Captain William J. Oldmixon, USN. Together they raised six children, and in 1995 retired to Bartlett, New Hampshire. They loved their retirement together in the White Mountains. Preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joan Shaw and brother Harry Barker, she is also survived by her sisters Cathryn Barker, Molly Shaw, Julie Cantelli, brothers John Barker and Thomas Barker, as well as a loving extended family.
