Margaret “Peggy” Scholl (McNeely), age 75, of Weymouth and formerly of Dorchester passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 4, 2018. Peggy was born, raised and educated in Dorchester where she met her beloved husband; Paul Scholl. They soon got married and settled in Dorchester where they created many wonderful memories raising their family together. Peggy and Paul moved to Weymouth in 1988 where they have resided ever since. Peggy was proud of her Irish roots and always took time to keep in touch with her remaining family in Ireland.

Peggy is survived by her beloved husband Paul Scholl of Weymouth. She is survived by her loving children John Scholl and his wife Penny of Avon, Paula Higgins and her husband Jerome of Quincy, Christina Collins and her significant other Ed Reszenski of Braintree, and Michael Scholl and his wife Kristen of Rockland, her cherished grandchildren Alyssa, Casey, Veronica, Aidan, Johnny, Keith, Calli, and Jimmy. Peggy also leaves her great-granddaughter Lylah, her late brothers Danny McNeely and Jack McNeely, and her lifelong friend Diane Rimsans.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours for Peggy on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 4-8pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9AM Wednesday for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass in Honor of Peggy which will be held at 10:30AM at St. Anne’s Church in Dorchester, MA. Interment will be in the Bourne National Cemetery located in Bourne, MA and will be private for the family.
