Marion Swan

Marion Swan (Jameson), age 88, passed away on October 1, 2017. Marion was born, raised, and educated in Everett. She moved to Charlestown where Marion raised her family and made many good memories at their family home. More recently, Marion moved to Weymouth where she has resided for the last ten years. Marion enjoyed getting involved at the Whipple Senior Center, Southern Artery in Quincy, and the Braintree Moose Club.

Marion was predeceased by her husband of 49 years Charles R. Swan. She is survived by her children Kathleen Savage of Weymouth, Mary Jane Driscoll and her husband Timothy of Malden, and Charles Oliver and his wife Mary Jane Donovan of Malden. Marion is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Marion on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 3-7pm at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. A Funeral Service in honor of Marion’s life will be held immediately following the visiting hours at 7pm in the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date and will be private for Marion’s family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hull Seaside Animal Rescue at 487 Nantasket Ave. Hull, MA 02045.
