Pearl M. (Fargo) Brimmer age 88, of S. Weymouth, Melrose MA and Westfield, ME passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in Greenwood, AR. She was the wife of the late Lemuel W. Brimmer and the sister of the late Jacqueline Allonen and Pauline Loud. Pearl is survived by her niece/daughter, Chris Ewing and was the loving “Mamaw” to Tim Ewing and Matt Dooly of Greenwood, AR, Jon Dooly of Rogers, AR, David Ewing of Charlestown, AR and Angela Ewing Crowder of Van Buren, AR as well as a host of wonderful friends.
Pearl was born in Boston, MA and was a Dept. Supervisor for Boston Insurance Co. She was a member of Eastern Star in Melrose, MA and Alfred, ME, Mother Advisor of Melrose Rainbow Girls for seven years and the recipient of the Grand Cross of Color. She was also a founding chapter member of NAGC.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Pearl at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, on Saturday, May 20 from 12-1 PM. A Celebration of Pearl’s life will immediately follow the visitation at 1PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearl’s memory to the Colonial Hills Baptist Church at 345 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth, MA 02190 or the Shady Nook Camp Association in West Newfield, ME.
