Lois “Lolo” M. Finnin (Rounds), age 80, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 24, 2016. Lois was born in Boston then raised and educated in Brockton where she met her husband Robert. They got married and moved to Dorchester and Roxbury for a short time before residing in Everett from 1965-2005. Lois worked for Arrow International Inc. now known as Teleflex for many years before retiring to Plympton to live with her daughter. She was a devout Christian who was very involved at First Baptist Church in Middleboro, loved her church family, and Women’s Retreats with her church members. Although Lois loved life and her family, she most especially enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Lois was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Finnin in 1998. She is survived by her loving children Janet Morris of Rockland, David Twombly and his wife Theresa of Malden, Carl Twombly and his companion Amy Jones of Southbridge, MA, and the Late Robert Twombly. Cherished grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Lois is also the loving sister of Marilyn “Sissy” Holliday, Carla Medeiros, the late Jackie Rounds, the late Ginny Roffey and has many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours for Lois on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 4-8 PM in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA. A service will be held in honor of Lois the following Thursday September 1, 2016 at 10AM in the Chapel at Knollwood Memorial Park located at 321 High St. Canton, MA 02021.
