Lawrence W. Phillips Sr.

Lawrence W. Phillips Sr., age 72, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016. Larry was survived by his wife Paula Morency-Phillips, his children, Lawrence W. Phillips, Jr. of Sandwich and Tracy Antonowicz and Tobey Phillips both of Weymouth. He also leaves his grandson, Nathan Morency of CT and his sister, Janice Bidmead of Leominster.
Lawrence was born in East Milton and grew up and lived in Weymouth prior to moving to Sandwich in 1985.
Larry worked as a mechanic at Stop and Shop Supermarket for many years before buying an 18 Wheeler and Trucking across country with His Dog Gypsy. He loved building Hot Rods and was the mayor of his neighborhood.
Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Larry at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday March 25, 2016 from 11 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service will immediately follow the visiting hours at 1 pm at the funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Larry’s memory to Brigham and Women’s Hospital Development Office, 116 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02116.
